This is a perfect class for anyone wishing to create something fabulous for an upcoming Summer Wedding or during Royal Ascot 2019!
You will learn the basic principles of couture millinery using sinamay.
You will learn how to block a button headpiece using sinamay. From blocking your Millinery material, to stiffening and wiring it's base and then inserting the petersham head fitting and adding an elastic and comb.
A variety of trimming options will be demonstrated and you can choose to trim your cocktail hat with a variety of sinamay twists, handmade silk flowers veiling sprays or feathers. You fabulous new handmade cocktail hat will then be ready to wear at your next Wedding or Race event!
All materials are provided – just bring a notebook and pen.
You will leave with:
*Floral patterns to use/adapt for future work.
*A supplier list for all your material needs after the course
*Your finished headpiece.
