Central Saint Martins – Upcoming Courses

In a few weeks I’ll be back teaching at Central Saint Martins, part of the University of the Arts London. It’s an incredibly vibrant and inspiring space and I absolutely adore teaching this course there!

I’ll be showing a new group of students how to make beautiful silk flowers which can then be made into stunning floral headpieces. We’ll be looking at how to design and create your own headwear; from learning to use traditional iron hand tools, sculpting silk into various flower shapes and decorating colourful veils. It’s going to be an incredible busy, creative and fun week!

I’m really excited about introducing new students to this beautiful craft!

The above floral headpiece was created by one of our international students Emilia Arden during the course. Emilia went on to have her headpiece styled and photographed as the image below.
